Hello all, hope your week has been off to a good start, I'm here today to lift it up just a bit. It seems the Slim Sadies set a precedent last week because for the second time we have a returning champion. Not only returning, Aubrey Van Gelded was also the very first TOTW winner, and she's returning today with a rough mix of a track from an upcoming Blink-182 tribute album called "Some girls try too hard". Aubrey is a force of nature and handles every role on the cover, and absolutely kills it, she makes it her own and gives you a raw sincere performance. I know the finished track will be amazing and sit atop the tribute album proudly but there's a magic in this rough mix that I'll hold onto, tucked away in my forever rotation.
