8/04/25 Tourist by Tanglebloom
Ahoy there maties, so after much deliberation this week we've decided it's time to break rules and it all Tanglebloom's fault. TRACK of the Week just couldn't contain them, Tanglebloom slid into my playlist about a month ago when I stumbled upon their album Tourist, just freshly released and sitting there waiting for me. What a journey it is too, I tried and tried to isolate a single track to gush about on here but to no avail surrendered to the fact, this beast wants to be digested whole. I could sit here forever and go on and on about the supreme handling of the sample work, the drums that rattle your cage raw, the melodies that stick in your crawl and take up residence but I'm not gonna take up a lot of your time today and give that to Tanglebloom. Some artist just come out of nowhere and become a fixture on your playlists and this album is sure to keep spinning for years to come. When you're done here make sure you reach out and show Tanglebloom some love today, there was so much heart and art poured into this album it stands as monument of inspiration for all of us.
